This old switch board above was removed from one of
Continental Tele's first exchanges, Tamarora, Ill.
It sat around the warehouse in Hoyleton for a long time. 
In 1969 Vern mentioned he would like to have it 
and the  local manager said he could have it.
It has been moved nine times since then and still works.
