.....The
top tool displays the front and back of a pocket guide that Vern designed
for himself. It is 3.75 in. wide and 6.0 in. high and made of cardboard
that is glued together . The face on each side has paper that contains
the typed information with sections of the paper colored to show the desired
color codes. Quite primitive but effective. It was clear coated to protect
it from abuse. He had to make several of them between 1965 and 1975, for
