Glady's Kirts
  Rooming House
    1956-57
I lived here happily for a little over a year, traveling back
home maybe every other weekend.

See that central window on the left, that was the bathroom.
My room was opposite it, on the west side of house. The
room's bed was something like that shown below.

The living room
was directly
below my
bedroom.
The window in
front of house
was where
a beautiful
Palor was.

I kept my 57 Chev. parked in the street on left under that tree.
I usually entered the house by the front porch, but once in a while Mrs. Kirts invited me for a meal in the kitchen. It can be entered by that east porch, by the big tree.

Sister's Farm House
Kirts
Mrs. Kirts had four daughters. Two lived out of state and one was Donna who was married to Donald Huston. They had a farm just north of town. The 4th daughter was younger and a senior in High School. She was LAURA, whom I got to adore very soon.
Laura had a horse which she boarded in a small barn behind the house. She rode it every where.

She rode it in parades and to her sisters
North of town.

Here Laura is
in a parade.

Laura was a Cheer Leader
I took her home from an out of town football
game once.   I did find this photo with her in it.
 At right end.   CLICK IT!

Laura had a boyfriend.
I don't remember his name.

Here I took a photo of him when he and I
were fishing.

I went to the Methodist Church a few times with Mrs. Kirts and Laura.
And for a finale on
my part,
I  attended Laura's
Graduation.
