The Sacramento Valley is a major drainage or WASH of northwest Arizona
in Mohave County. The wash is east of the Black Canyon of the Colorado and drains
into the south-flowing Colorado River
45 mi south of Lake Mohave, and 90 mi south of Hoover Dam at Lake Mead.
Golden Valley, Arizona was named after the Golden Valley Development Company.
This company from Hollywood, California; had gone into
partnership with the Crystal Collins Realtor Co.
to develop most of the land south of Highway 68 into 2.5 acre parcels.
BISMARK CANYON, 1,400 feet east of the Gross ranch house, had low-grade molybdenite deposits worked in about 1926 by the C. and A. Mining Co., but no ore has been shipped.
