necessary to support Horizontal Fiber/Copper cables and wire. |
PC | Patch
Cord
A pair of Fibers made up to a specific length for patching circuits from one PP to another PP. |
PP | Patch Panel A frame for mounting circuit connectors |
PROT | Protection Hardware A device used to isolate foreign electrical current. |
PT | Patching Tray A Metal or Plastic WW . |
RK | Rack A frame for mounting Electronics and PPs. |
TBB | Telecommunications
Bonding Backbone -
A large bonding conductor extending from the TMGB, out to building TGBs. |
TC | Telecommunications
Closet - The room where electronic circuits are modified,
the room containing equipment racks, trays and wall fields, before connecting circuits to the WS. |
TGB | Telecommunication
Grounding Busbar
A connection base used for bonding Telecommunications EC. |
TIC | Tie Cable A group of paired wires enclosed within a sheath. |
TMGB | Telecommunication Main Grounding Busbar A large connection base at the building entrance bonded to the Grounding .Electrode System on the inbound neutral side of the electrical power system. |

WC | Wire
Closet A closet or cabinet containing a WF
for extending Voice Grade circuits to WS's located outside the data limits of any ER or TC. |
WF | Wall Field A surface used to mount TH. |
