Combination type trucks
used in 1960's

| Whiteford Telephone Company used both
of these type trucks. Vern liked the top truck best. This right side of
the truck had storage for telephones and parts to install them. The left
side held pole climbing tools such as Belt, Hooks or portable steps. Vern
still has his hooks. The back was storage for wire used to transmit telephone
converstions between the pole line and the house. |
