1ST STAKING SHEET USED IN 1958
This staking sheet was drawn up by John Loucks in the cold of Janurary, 1958.  It was up dated twice by Vern.
  • Column 1...depicted the poles to be placed, H = height, C = class
  • Column 2...distance between poles, (Span)
  • Column 3...right of way (R) clearing required. T= trimming of trees only
  • Column 4...foreign pole info, there was none here.
  • Column 5...pole top units, like cross arms, none required for these cables
  • Column 6...guys used to support poles, 1-4 = 16M strand, 1-3 = 10M strand
  • Column 7...anchors that guys were attached to, 6-5's were large screw anchors
  • Column 8...angle/lead displayed angle of cables on pole were pulling, lead = anchor distance from pole
  • Column 9...PM = misc. pole attachments, 11 = guy guard, 5 = steel side arm
  • Column 10 Cables installed on this line, C900x24P = 900 pair, 24 gauge, Plastic Sheath
  • Column 11 PG = Terminal or terminal blocks
  • Column 12 H = Splice enclosure type
  • The remaining columns were used for materials used to wire individual homes
