Our Old 1969 Ford Explored 15 States
before we traded off for a Buick.

Winter traveling in the Mid-West, disintregated the paneling on the
left side of the car.
Driving 30 miles north and back,
had our kids
spitting dust all the way. :(
The road to Stockton is
11 miles long but the
state has labeled the
road all the way to Peach Ferry Rd.
"Stockton Hill Rd."
When we moved to Kingman in 1977,
we came by way
U.S. 66.
The same trail Beale's Wagon
Trail was made
in 1858 but the
opposite way.
During my first days of work I scared up a JACK RABBIT.
One reason for our
first drive in the
desert was for
all to see if there
more rabbits to see.
The house we rented on EMILIE CIRCLE was just South of the new Interstate 40.
We drove a few blocks East and hit the Stockton Hill Rd. We were on our Way.
The map has Mile Post numbers.
The numbers 1 - 6 show where the following photos were taken.
At the end of the PAVED road
we stopped to take Bryan's & Kelly's
FIRST PICTURE in the Desert.
As we drove along we saw this Marsh.
And all of sudden, there was this JACK RABBIT running beside us. :)
